Restore to previous file versions

As soon as you have started tracking your files with iternum TrackMyFiles, you can always go back to a previously saved state of your files.

So if you want to go back to a previous file version, you can access the last five revisions via the context menu or browse through all revisions recorded. To access the last five revisions just right click on a file inside a tracked folder:

If you want to go back to an even earlier file version, open the History Browser to access the full history of the tracked file from the same context menu:

In our real life example of this tour, we want to restore the sales presentation from Monday. This can be done by moving the slider "Slide through Changes" to the left until the date field shows the date of last Monday. By clicking the "View" button the first draft of the sales presentation opens for review.

Sometimes it is hard to remember what version of a document exactly was sent to a colleague or customer. That is why iternum TrackMyFiles allows you to tag files with a custom label.
