Start tracking your important files

Iternum TrackMyFiles tracks changes to your important files automatically. It allows you to travel back in time and retrieve older versions of your files. This way you can change files by knowing that you can always go back to an older version.

Tell Iternum TrackMyFiles which files are important to you

Before the automatic tracking starts, you must tell the program which files are important to you and should be tracked. For example, let us assume you have a folder "My Presentations" containing important presentations on your Desktop.

All you need to do is to click on the folder with your right mouse button and select "TrackMyFiles > Start Tracking" from the context menu:

Iternum TrackMyFiles now starts tracking the folder and its contents. In order to show you that the folder is being tracked, the folder's icon is marked with the TrackMyFiles symbol:

Now all files inside this folder are tracked automatically, so if you overwrite a previously saved file, no changes are lost. Remember: With TrackMyFiles you can always go back.
